I went to Oregon to see my family last month. It was such a great trip. It all started with a sushi lunch with my Mother and my sister, Pam, in Portland. Then on to the Classical Chinese Gardens. They were beautiful.....
During the course of my 8 day stay, we hiked, went to the coast, and did wine tasting at a couple of local wineries near Eugene. Sweet Cheeks Winery is very quaint and charming. King Estate Winery is a very upscale winery with expansive vinyards. The Pino Noir was magnificent.
Zach is still in Tennessee with his Mom until the middle of August. I really miss him a lot. Bram and I have been hanging out together quite a bit. Jason and Andrea took a few days to go to San Francisco, and Bram and I played at the park and he really enjoyed the Slip n' Slide we set up in the yard.
Job prospects are few and far in between. I'm trying not to panic, but the reality is that it may take a while longer to find one....
